Who are Kara and Nate?!

2016-2019: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuFv4iF8wgg&t=1s

2020-2024: https://youtu.be/ikAN9e0gBaU?si=G644UGWIqPrOzTYW

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.

We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted πŸ˜‰

So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.

Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.

4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to πŸ˜‰ Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!

After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 10TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer πŸ™‚

We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

  1. ALASKA!!!!

  2. Alaska for sure guys!!!!

  3. Yeah, you're saying 900 k. Might as well say 1 million! With tax..

  4. A million dollars? Holy moly!

  5. Anyone else over these Earthworm tours? Like just show what's new and a few cool gadgets, we don't need a full 30 minute ad every time you go on one of these, it's basically the same damn van with minor updates each time….

it's giving this is a paid advertisement and we have to do it vibes…
I guess get your bag tho, even if it is already overflowith, enough that you don't have to take these type of advertisements.

Maybe it's time to take a real long break and find yourselves again, refocus, doesn't seem like Kara wants to even be there half the time and Nates trying to find purpose

  6. I think driving through Yukon Territory to Alaska would be a really cool video series. I would also definitely like to see it stitched together into a whole video at the end too. πŸ˜›

  7. IDK why these are your most viewed videos… It's literally the same video every time and is a 45 min ad.. These are your WORST videos, don't let the analytics fool you.

  8. 100% I would rather empty the toilet over running period, let alone a marathon…

And I'd like to vote in favor of an Alaskan trip.

  9. Buy and earthroamer you can afford it! 😊

  10. Did anyone else gasp when the table buckled slightly when Kara laid down on it? At 900,000 dollars retail I would be so careful about what I was doing inside of that vehicle and also on the exterior too!

Starlink…!!! That just ended it for me… Wouldn't take one of these RV's if it was given to me for free.. Can't stand anything that has any connection to Elon Musk!

  11. OMG. This one made me twitch. I don't do up. But you two are so awesome. Thank you for the joy and adventure. 🌡🌺🌼

  12. Next year you should do a group earthroamer with eamon and beck, kinging it, Raya and loui, and Max, ofcourse with Zach and Ben.

  13. such nice vehicle however for the price should have a more upgraded coffee maker – keurig ?!

  14. Do Alaska!!!!

  15. Kara, I'm with you. I'd rather dump the poop than run a marathon. Also cute haircut! Nate, good luck on your 6 days of marathons. You got this!

  16. 8:40 buy one? I’m a minor!! 😒

  17. How meny times does cara and nate say earthroamer in this video?

  18. Alaska or bust baby!!

  19. omg the way i would look forward to watching the weekly Alaska Earth roamer episode <3 I'd be so excited to watch!!!

  20. Alaska alaska alaska

  21. My boyfriends name is Nate and we love your videos and today he is excited to tell you that he IS a geologist (and an ultra runner) and as for your question about the rock formations he says β€œArkosic sandstones! They shape the entirety of southern Utah and northern Arizona. Today we see the remnants of those erosional surfaces.”❀

  22. 38:45 @Kara – we have an Airstream and when it do the dumping I wear disposable gloves – makes it a little less gross – those earthroamer guys should include those in the kit

  23. Please do Alaska !!!

Great vehicle to get to the best salmon fishing spots !!

  24. Dot's pretzels, are they the best or what!!??

  25. Yes to Alaska!!
Nate, consider using a patella running band below your knee it will help so much!
