Food Theory: Why Did Gen Z QUIT Drinking Alcohol?

As a Gen z this is a lie

A lot of us are going sober. Generational trauma, substance abuse, a pandemic that made us realize we had an unhealthy relationship when the stuff was all we had. Sobriety should be spoken about.

Another thing to consider is the rise of caffeine drinks. Caffeine drinks, especially energy drinks, have much better sales than they used to. Everyday I always see people in my school carrying around monsters and much. Back then when you wanted to feel something from a drink, that was from alcohol. Now it’s with caffeine. Ist cheaper, healthier and you don’t have be a certain age to legally consume. This rise though has caused problems with caffeine addictions. I’ve noticed many of other gen zer are always consuming some form of caffeine even if coffee late at night. We’re becoming more addicted to this substance and with it, alcohol is decreasing.

Drinking is the worst drug. There are so many better drugs!

My father drank, has done nothing but harm.

They drink less but are on more medications than anyone else hrmmmmm??

I feel like it's partially because of legalized marijuana

So true, I’d rather have one good quality drink than several lower quality drinks and, if you’re looking for a good low/no drink Lucky Saint is awesome!
